Programs

 

With Lord Jesus’ Blessings, three programmes: Education (formal education plus Sunday school), Health, Equipment of Women with Skills, are being run under the umbrella of Ehsas e Admiat. Let us have a look on these separately.


Education

  1. Two seminars have been held to make people understand the importance of education rather than working some where in childhood.
  2. Two temporary educational centers have been set up where approximately 300 children have been enrolled who are getting education in the evening classes.
  3. All books, note books and stationery articles have been provided by Ehsas e Admiat (Good Samaritan Ministry) free of cost to every student.
  4. Sunday school has also been established for spiritual growth of the students in nearby churches.
  5. Two Bible quiz have been conducted to maintain religious nourishment. 
  6. One day recreational and educational tour has been arranged to enhance the students’ interest in studies.

 

Health

  1. Two seminars have been conducted to make people understand the importance of hygiene to maintain a healthy life.
  2. A medical camp has been arranged in an outreach village to identify the carriers of Hepatitis A, B, and C.
  3. A complete examination of blood and urine of its beneficiaries has been done to get them aware of their health status and to proceed accordingly.
  4. Our lady health workers are taking a round of our focused area to maintain maternity health of the women
  5. Fumigation against dengue mosquito has been executed in our focused villages.
  6. Global Hand Washing Day has been observed by the children to inculcate the importance of washed up hands to maintain health as they are the agents of change.

 

Empowerment of Women with Skills

50 illiterate grown-up girls have joined our Stitching Center where they are trained for cloth stitching, embroidery, lace making, button designing and other such techniques which are used in stitching.
